GHL Custom CSS and JS, Installed by You in Two Minutes
Installing a GoHighLevel customization takes one line of custom JS: get your customizer login by email, design the look in the live editor, then paste the loader line into Agency Settings, Company, White Label, Custom JS, plus one CSS line for the login page. Your data, pipelines and workflows are never changed.
How Do You Install a GoHighLevel Theme?
Five steps, all done by you, and the actual install is about two minutes. The same steps apply to every package, from Foundation up.

Get your login
Order a package and your customizer account is created automatically. Your login (email and a temporary password) is emailed as soon as payment completes, usually within minutes and at most 24 hours. If anything goes wrong, the account is set up by hand within 24 hours. Check spam if it has not arrived.

Sign in and change your password
Sign in at customizer.ghlcustomercare.com with the email and temporary password, then set your own password.

Pick a theme, UI kit and login design, then the menus, dashboard, board and widgets your package unlocks. The preview shows every change before you save.

Paste one line into Custom JS
In GoHighLevel open Agency Settings, Company, White Label, Custom JS and paste the one loader line the editor gives you, with your key already filled in. It covers the agency view and every sub-account.

Paste the login CSS line
In the Custom CSS field next to it, paste the one @import line for the login page, which GoHighLevel shows before any script can run. Save, reload, done.

What the line changes
Colors, fonts, cards, buttons, tables and the login page; where the menu sits and what it is called; the dashboard banner and chart colors; the opportunities board style; the contact actions bar; and any popups or widgets your package unlocks.
What they never touch
Contacts, opportunities, pipeline stages, workflows, calendars, users, permissions, phone numbers and billing. A few GoHighLevel screens load inside a frame from another domain, and browsers do not allow outside styling there, so those keep the stock look.
Version history
Your recent saves are kept and can be restored in one click (5 on Foundation, 10 on Framework and Turnkey Build). If a change is not right, roll back instead of rebuilding.
Allowed-domain lock
The loader only runs on the domains you list. Copy the line onto another account and it refuses to load.

Where does GHL custom CSS and JS go?
In GoHighLevel open Agency Settings, Company, White Label. Paste the one loader line from your customizer editor into Custom JS, and the one @import line for the login page into Custom CSS. Nothing is pasted into individual sub-accounts.
Why is there a separate CSS line for the login page?
GoHighLevel does not run custom JavaScript on the login page, but it does load custom CSS there. So the login design ships as a CSS import, and everything after sign-in (theme, menus, dashboards, boards, widgets) comes through the single Custom JS line.
Do I have to paste it again after every change?
No. Paste once. Every change you save in the editor goes live on the next page load, with no re-install.
Does the install change my GoHighLevel data?
No. The lines change how pages look and how the menu is laid out in the browser. Contacts, opportunities, stages, workflows, calendars, users and settings are not touched. The contact actions bar only changes a contact when a signed-in user presses a button, through GoHighLevel itself.
How do I undo it?
Two ways. Restore an earlier version from version history in your editor, or delete the install lines from agency settings and the stock look returns on the next page load.
Will the loader slow GoHighLevel down?
It is one small script that the browser caches and only downloads again after a saved change. In practice people notice the new look, not a delay.
What is privacy mode?
An eye button in the header that blurs names, emails and phone numbers. It is useful when you share your screen on a sales call or record a training video. Try it in the preview on this page.
Can someone copy my design onto their own account?
The loader has an allowed-domain lock: it only runs on the domains you list, and requests from anywhere else are refused.
Do I have to give you my GoHighLevel password?
No, never. You paste the line into your own agency settings yourself. Nobody on our side needs access to your GoHighLevel account.
What if I get stuck?
You do the customizing yourself in the live editor, with previews. Help docs and our support team are there if you get stuck. The help docs walk through every module, and support can tell you exactly where a setting lives.
What happens when GoHighLevel updates its interface?
The customizer targets GoHighLevel’s own page structure and is maintained against it. If an update shifts something, your design keeps working on the parts that did not change, and engine fixes reach you automatically through the same line.
